The Appledore V

The Appledore V
The Appledore V under sail

In winter (Nov - April) the Appledore V sails from Salty Sam's Marina in Fort Myers Beach Florida, where the ship offers a regular schedule of public sails, and our Science under Sail program for K-12 school groups. In Fort Myers Beach the ship is also available for private charters and group tours.

In summer (May - October) Appledore V is in the Great Lakes sailing from ports including Bay City, Mackinaw City, Detroit, and Cleveland. While in port the ship is available for Science under Sail, group tours, private charters, and a regular schedule of public sails in Mackinaw City. Between port visits the Appledore V sails with up to 9 trainees on Windward Bound and Lake Bound, our week-long youth voyaging programs.
