Upcoming Port Visits

Each year the Appledores make a limited number of special visits to waterfront celebrations and maritime events.
During the summer of 2012 our ships will be visiting ports on the Atlantic Coast and the Great Lakes where we will be introducing students to marine and freshwater ecology during our Science under Sail program, and offering public sails at waterfront celebrations.
In the fall the APPLEDORE V will again sail south to Fort Myers Beach, Florida, where we will be offering our Science under Sail program on the Gulf of Mexico! The ship will also be available for public sails, private charters, and group tours sailing from Salty Sam's Marina.
