This is what our ships can do for you:

Dockside Attraction with Below Deck Tour
After seeing a sailing ship alongside the dock and touring her decks event attendees are fascinated to know what the ship is like below decks. On the Appledores we pride ourselves on providing an engaging experience for event attendees which includes a tour of the ships interior.

Public Sails
The Schooners Appledore IV and Appledore V have sub-chapter T certification, so they can carry passengers for hire from any U.S. port. This means that in addition to being a dockside attraction the ships can carry passengers on short excursions during your maritime event.

Environmental Issues Booth
In addition to bringing one or both of our ships to your event, we can provide an environmental issues booth designed to engage the general public (youth in particular) with hands on activities, water quality information, and interesting displays. The booth is staffed by BaySail Educators experienced in science education.

Voyaging
Carrying both youth and adult sail trainees is part of our mission, so when our ships sail away
from your event we can take some of your community members with us! As part of our appearance agreement we can include some passage-making opportunities that you can use to help promote your event — perhaps as contest giveaways, pre-event raffle prizes, or a gift to a local youth group. We would be happy to work with you to develop a promotion that provides maximum value and impact — and the trip of a lifetime for a few of your neighbors!
