2011-2012 Sailing Schedule
(Nov 30 - April 25)
All sails depart from Salty Sam's Marina (view map).
Schooner Appledore V

Join us aboard the 24 passenger Appledore V in our winter home of Ft. Myers Beach. Cruise the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico's San Carlos Bay on a real working schooner. We will explore the bay in search of a good breeze and dolphins to keep us company. You can help the crew sail the ship (you know you want to) and enjoy the beautiful view of sand fringed Estero and Sanibel Islands. During our Go Fish Family Sails our on board educator will deploy a trawl net and catch marine life for live viewing in on board touch tanks.
Departures from Salty Sam's Marina, 2500 Main St, Ft Myers Beach - just over the bridge from the oceanfront. The Appledore V is also available for private charters, group tours, and our award winning K-12 Science under Sail program.
