Day Sails
Bay City, MI- Legends of the Saginaw

Learn the fascinating history of the Saginaw River as the Appledore IV sails from Downtown Bay City out to the Saginaw Bay for a three-hour sail on Lake Huron. A hearty lunch is served underway and narration is provided by local historians.
Once out on the open water, help the crew set the sails or relax and enjoy the view. Please click here for our Bay City sailing schedule.
Ft Myers Beach, FL - San Carlos Bay Sails

Come aboard the Appledore V for a beautiful sail on the Gulf of Mexico. These daytime sails depart from Salty Sam's Marina on the Matanzas Pass and sail the gulf's San Carlos Bay - home to a large dolphin population. During the Go Fish Family Sail our on board educator will deploy our trawl net and bring aboard gulf marine life for viewing in our live touch tanks. On all of our day sails we will encourage everyone to get involved and help sail the ship - there are lots of lines to pull on! Click here for our Ft Myers Beach sailing schedule
Mackinaw City, MI - Straits of Mackinac Sails

Northern Lake Michigan is one of the most spectacular regions of the Great Lakes. The cool lake water is a deep clear blue and the northern boreal forest comes right up to the water's edge. The Appledore V sails weekends only from this Michigan port onto the Mackinac Straits and under the mighty Mackinaw Bridge. Join us for a two hour sail.
