Sailing Schedule

Weekends July 2 - Labor Day

All sails depart from the Straits State Harbor (view map) in Downtown Mackinaw City

Each weekend from July 2 to Labor Day we sail Lake Huron's beautiful Straits of Mackinac on the 65' APPLEDORE V. Come aboard for a day or evening sail and enjoy spectacular views of the mighty Mackinac Bridge, and Mackinac Island. Help the crew sail the ship or relax and enjoy some of the best freshwater sailing in the world. Bring a picnic if you like!

On our evening sails you can bring a bottle of wine, pick a comfy spot and enjoy the sunset as the ship slips through the water. You won't find a better way to take in the northern Michigan outdoors.

We offer discounts for groups of 10 or more and kids 5 years and under sail free.

The APPLEDORE V is also available for charters and group tours in Mackinaw City. Contact us for more information.

Fourth of July Fireworks Sail

See the fireworks from the best seat in the house – the deck of the schooner Appledore V! Join us for this special three hour sail and enjoy the largest Independence Day fireworks display in Northern Michigan. Departing from the Straits State Harbor at 8:00pm, returning at 11:00pm (fireworks around 10:00pm).

Adults $45, Students $35, Children $20, under 5 free.
Monday July 4, 8pm - 11pm

* Students must have valid Student ID

* Children = 6-14 yrs

Tickets must be purchased in advance. All sales are final and are good for the date of reservation only. Sails are rain or shine. Children 5 yrs and under sail free of charge (limit one per adult ticket purchased). Schedules and prices subject to change without notice.
