MainSail & EcoSail

(youth groups ages 12 and over)
MainSail is an ideal program for scouting groups, day camps, and all sorts
of youth organizations. We will take your group back in time to the age of sail
and teach them the arts of the sailor: knots and splices, line handling, setting
and trimming the sails, navigation, and everyone’s favorite – steering
the ship.
Would you like to learn about the freshwater ecology of the Great Lakes during your sail? Then try EcoSail our hybrid program that combines the best elements of MainSail with Science Under Sail, our curriculum aligned science program.
These programs may be further customized to suit your group, so please inquire if you have a specific request. MainSail and EcoSail programs can be booked anytime May – October.
