2015 Voyage Schedule
Character building, confidence boosting, and learning are three reasons our programs attract students from around the Midwest. Last year, 26 trainees set sail on Appledore IV for the experience of a lifetime. 2015 promises to be a another great year. Join us for a Windward Bound voyage you won't forget.

Thanks to the generosity of local donors and the BaySail Board of Directors we are able to offer a limited number of Windward Bound Scholarships. Highly motivated Great Lakes Bay region secondary school students with a passion for environmental education and sail training are eligible to apply. Please contact us for details.
Windward Bound voyages are $110 per day, per trainee. Click on your preferred voyage for price. To book a voyage, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. The balance is due 30 days before departure. All fees are non-refundable.
To book the entire ship for a voyage a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. The final balance is due 30 days before departure. We can accommodate groups of up to 9.
All fees are non-refundable.
Round trip transportation from Bay City to the ship is provided on all voyages where appropriate. This cost is already included in the voyage fee.
The Appledore IV is licensed and inspected by the U.S. Coast Guard and is crewed by a licenced captain and first mate, and two youth crew. Windward Bound is licenced by the State of Michigan as a youth travel camp. BaySail is a member oftall Ships America (TSA)and a past recipient of the TSA "Sea Education Program of the Year" award.
