Youth Tall Ships Voyaging
Windward Bound is a hands-on adventure full of fun and challenge. Learn how to navigate, steer, and handle the sails on a traditional schooner while sailing as a Windward Bound crew trainee on voyages to interesting ports on the Great Lakes and beyond! If you are 14-18 years of age and crave the experience of a lifetime, this is it! 4 to 10 day overnight voyages commence June 16th and continue through the summer.
Youths completing a summer voyage become eligible to join the year-round Windward Bound Youth Officer training program and sail the following year as part of our youth
