Give Local Bay is only 1 week away! Now in its 4th year, Give Local Bay is a celebration of local nonprofits doing amazing work in our community, by helping to build their endowment funds. What makes Give Local Bay even better is the additional support of incentive pool funds. This year, LiUNA Local 1098 is generously supporting the incentive pool.

How it works:

First, contributors visit the page(s) of their favorite, local nonprofits at www.givelocalbay.org (There’s also an option to give to multiple organizations using one form). You can donate as soon as the clock strikes midnight on Tuesday, May 1st! If you’d like to make a donation by check, you can drop it off at the Bay Area Community Foundation during business hours.

Next, follow your favorite nonprofits on the leaderboard throughout the day. Contributions are only counted beginning at midnight and up until 11:59:59 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1, 2018.

Finally, at the stroke of midnight, the final totals will be tallied. The additional incentive pool funds added to each organization’s total is based on what percentage their raised funds represented in the total amount donated throughout the day. So, the more we raise, the larger our portion of the incentive pool!

Both BaySail and the Saginaw Bay Community Sailing Association have endowment funds maintained by the Bay Area Community Foundation. Donations through Give Local Bay are added to the organization’s endowment fund. Thank you for your support!
